Well, it's that time of year again! Kids everywhere are cringing in ghastly dread, as the most terrifying day of October approaches...

No, I'm not talking about Halloween...I'm talking about MID-TERMS! Being a student at the California Institute of the Arts, I've been one busy bee. Papers to write, notes to take, storyboards to draw...and don't get me started on the animation! Sometimes my little cubicle is stuffed so full of papers that I have to get a snow shovel just to make room!

Anyway, here's a sketch to show you what I mean. Sometimes getting school work done can be like battling a gargantuan paper-demon!

Man, I just KNOW that poor little guy's gonna get a paper cut....

hmm. . . that seems about right.

this reminds me of the pen dragon.

it's very good, cheers. i particularly like the tallest stack of paper in the background, very well done, that.

though, and tell me if i'm missing something, it seems he only has one leg, and one arm.

the beast, that is.
