Local inventor Godfrey Gladstone is too brilliant to use regular headphones, like a simpleton! Instead, he's created a handy-dandy way to strap a gramophone to your head. Welcome to the 21st century, chaps! Now you can take the magic of music wherever you go, from the local barbershop to the Harrumphing Parlour. Harrumph!

I drew this stylish fellow for a T-shirt contest for KALX, the crazy Berkeley college radio station. Let's hope I win! After all, you can't spell "KALX" without "AL(e)X!"
